BIGGEST EVER NUMBER OF ENTRIES!
The 2009 Construction Manager of the Year Awards is proving to be the largest to date with 58% more entries than ever before. Early signs indicated an increased awareness of the awards and a wider range of companies showing interest in taking part. However such a leap really is a staggering and exciting result.
The CMYA are the only awards that recognise individual management achievement & showcase the best of the best in the construction industry. To get to the final, nominees will embark upon the
necessary but arduous judging process including documentation, interviews and site visits.
These processes make winning a gold or silver medal on the night, or preferably being announced the overall ‘Construction Manager of the Year’ a career milestone & recognised achievement - we wish all the nominees the best of luck!
The CIOB are again looking forward to hosting this years' event; for over 30 years now we've been proud to organise the CMYA which we believe, crucially values the work of UK construction managers. When considering this years' exceptionally high level of entries, there can be no doubt that this is a feeling shared from within the construction industry.

JUDGING PROGRAMME
Initial judging began in early April and will continue until the end of August when the finalists are announced. The CMYA then takes place on the 27th October at the Grosvenor Hotel in London and is attended each year by 1100 of the movers and shakers within the industry today.
