What's special about the CMYA?

Judged by the CIOB, these are the only industry awards that celebrate individual management achievement. The awards are not for projects, processes, products or design. They are for people. As a consequence they are highly sought after both by the individuals and their companies.
 
The atmosphere on the night is unlike that of any of the usual run of the mill industry awards evenings. Winning a medal and particularly being named as overall Construction Manager of the Year is a major career milestone and launch pad for the future.
